My name is Percy Lingen and I am blessed to be the new principal at the School of St. Philip. God has brought me to this place and with his guidance, we will continue the wonderful tradition that is the School of St. Philip.
I graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, IA with a degree in elementary education and minors in music and psychology. I have two master’s degrees, in curriculum & instruction and administration. Both are from Minnesota State University Mankato. I have over 25 years of experience in education in both public and private schools.
My husband, Steven, and I have two grown children and four grandchildren. We enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. We all enjoy boating and fishing, gardening, and indoor and outdoor games. I am an avid baker and like to try new recipes or creating my own. I also enjoy music, singing and craft projects. If you see me out and about or my red Toyota at school or church, please feel free to stop and introduce yourself. I am anxious to get to know all of you and I look forward to serving the families of the School of St. Philip and the Shepherd of Souls faith community.
