Family Newsletter ~ April 11, 2019

Updated: Jul 17, 2020

Hello SoSP families!

I hope you are enjoying this interesting spring weather! Just a reminder that the teachers have sent home make-up work for home days, so complete and return this as instructed by your child's teacher.

School of St. Philip Family MN TWINS GAME TRIP

Our School Committee has planned a new adventure for Saturday, May 11. We will be taking a trip to Minneapolis on our big blue bus for the 1:00 game. Tickets will be $20. We will plan to leave the SoSP about 10:15-10:30 AM. Tickets need to be reserved and paid for by April 19 so sign up in the school office early!

Christian Passover Meal

I am still in need of lots of help for our Christian Passover meal next Thursday. I will take help wherever you are able: set up (10:00), serving (11:00-12:00), Clean up (12:15). We will wrap up about 12:45. Please contact the office to volunteer.

Climb Theater Presentation

Next Thursday afternoon Climb Theater will be presenting two shows for our students. Our K/1 students will see "All You Can Eat" and the 2-5 students will see "Flashback". Be sure to talk with your children about what they learned!

Library Books

We have library visits each Friday afternoon. Just a reminder that students should read their borrowed books and return them frequently so that they can check out new ones. We have added lots of new books to the collection, and quick returns allow lots of children to read the new literature.

Holy Week

We encourage all families to take part in the many special liturgies coming up next week. This is the most sacred week of the year...filled with rituals that remind us of the love and sacrifice of Jesus.

School Survey

Please help us with our self-study process by taking 5 minutes to complete our stakeholder survey. Simply click on the link that follows.
